Responsibilities: Apply coding classification standards and guidelines to medical record documentation; ensure that all encounter documentation is evaluated for consistency with the nature of the patient encounter (i.e., audit); evaluate occurrences of deficiencies and/or inconsistencies in medical record documentation through the healthcare provider query process, and assist health care providers in proper code selection.   The Auditor/Trainer shall perform the duties and tasks associated with auditing Government coded outpatient records and providing training each month on-site. 

Requirements:

Possess and maintain one of the following certifications issued by AHIMA or AAPC.

Certified Professional Coder Hospital (CPC-H)

Certified Professional Coder Payer (CPC-P)

Minimum 1 year of auditing experience within the preceding 2 years.

  • Experience developing HMI or SCADA programming and configuration using software packages such as Wonderware, Rockwell, Intellution, GE Cimplicity, Ci-Tech, Iconics, Siemens, US Data, Web Studio, etc.
  • Extensive experience reading and red-lining electrical schematics and P&ID drawings
  • Effectively communicate to Drafter/CAD Designer the requirements for producing all engineering documentation for projects.
  • Must be experienced in developing and troubleshooting entire PLC controls systems.
